About Kalikareem
My name is Yvonne, and I live with my husband John in Swansea, West Glamorgan, not far from the beautiful Gower coastline. I have been breeding Siamese for 15 years. I first fell in love with the Siamese breed when my husband bought me a seal point Siamese boy for my Birthday in 1986, we called him 'Simba'. He was a gorgeous boy and lived a good, happy life with us for 12 years. I started breeding in 1992, my stud boy (Ch Onapromise Salvador) 'Jaffa' sired some beautiful kittens. Sadly he passed away at a young age, leaving me bereft and inconsolable. I stopped breeding and showing for a few years, only having 1 or 2 litters a year with my new boy (Onapromise Lounge Lizard) 'Sultan'. He sired lovely babies too until he was neutered. He now lives a lazy, idyllic existence, lolling around the house. I decided to start up my breeding programme again 2 years ago, as I could not stand the silence. I want to thank so very, very much the people I am about to mention, without them I couldn't do what I love to do - 'Breed Siamese'.
Dr Frances and Colin Martin (Abicasa). For entrusting their beautiful girl to us 'Shebhan' Ch. Abicasa My Cherie Amour and to have, in turn, her son 'Salah' Kalikareem Salah Al Din, a truly handsome lad
Miss C Burnett (Adcinam) for my darling girl 'Miah' Adcinam Venusamore, who has just given birth to 6 beautiful babies.
Mrs Sharon Lee (Willhavetodo) for my special 'Naughty Tortie', 'Jahla' Willhavetodo Specioso, a sweet gentle girl.
Kath and Rose Debowska (Metexa) for my darling tender, gentle loving boy 'Kaliph' (Metexa Kalikareem Kaliph). His wonderful, kind nature and lovely ways are a rare quality. A much loved boy, as are they all.
Katie Rose (Onapromise) for my two handsome boys, loved beyond reason, 'Jaffa', Onapromise Salvador and 'Sultan', Onapromise Lounge Lizard. Without your kindness and trust I would not have had the privilege and honour of knowing what Siamese and Oriental breeding was all about. A remarkable lady and good friend. Bless you!
Lynne Studer (Mylynn) for giving me her time and patience, knowledge and friendship. A big thank you!
.......and last but not least, my husband John, whose selflessness with my hobby holds no bounds. Without his love and support for this very special love of mine, I would be lost. A massive 'thank you' to you!
